Easycruit is a recruitment service developed by Ehra Talent Solutions. This page explains how Easycruit handles Google user data in two optional features: Google Calendar for recruiters and interviewers, and Google file upload for candidates.
Users at the employer, such as recruiters and interviewers, can choose to connect their Google Calendar to Easycruit. This lets interviews be scheduled around their availability.
Easycruit does not read the titles, descriptions, attendees or any other content of the user's own calendar events.
Free/busy times are used only to show when the user is available for interviews. They are shown to colleagues at the same employer, and to candidates choosing an interview time. Candidates and colleagues see only whether a time is free or busy, never what is in the calendar.
Easycruit stores only the email address of the connected account, an encrypted access token and references to the interview events it has created. Free/busy times are not stored.
The user can disconnect Google Calendar in Easycruit at any time. This revokes Easycruit's access at Google and deletes the stored email address and access token. Interview events already created remain in the user's calendar, and Easycruit's references to them are deleted automatically three years after each event was created.
Access can also be removed in the user's Google Account settings. If the employer stops using Easycruit, stored Google data for its users is deleted along with the employer's other data.
When applying for a position, candidates can choose to attach files, such as a CV, from their Google Drive.
Easycruit opens only the files the candidate selects in the Google file picker, and does not open or read any other files in the candidate's Google Drive.
A copy of each selected file is added to the candidate's application. It is kept for as long as the employer retains the application, and is deleted with it. Candidates can ask the employer to delete their application, including uploaded files, at any time.
If the candidate chooses to have a CV from Google Drive read automatically to fill in the application form, the selected file is also sent to a CV parsing service. Depending on how the employer has set up its career site, this is an external CV parsing service or an AI model hosted on Amazon Web Services, each acting on behalf of Ehra Talent Solutions. The file is sent only for this purpose.
The access the candidate grants is used only in the candidate's browser, to fetch the selected files. It is never sent to or stored by Easycruit, and it expires automatically within an hour. Candidates can also remove Easycruit's access in their Google Account settings.
Ehra Talent Solutions does not sell Google user data obtained through Easycruit, and does not share, transfer or disclose it to any third party, except to service providers that process it on behalf of Ehra Talent Solutions to run Easycruit, such as hosting and CV parsing, or where required by law.
Ehra Talent Solutions does not use Google user data for advertising, and does not use data obtained through Google Workspace APIs to develop, improve or train generalised or non-personalised artificial intelligence or machine learning models.
Google user data is encrypted in transit. Access tokens and uploaded files are stored encrypted. Within Ehra Talent Solutions, access to stored data is restricted to authorised personnel.
Easycruit's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
